El Nino.....HA!

A little rain never scared me! So, when Olia called and thought that we needed a trip to Disneyland, I agreed, rain or shine! We decided Martin Luther King Day was perfect. It's never packed on that day, since only federal and school employees have it off, plus the forecast made it even better. Raining cats and dogs was an understatement. But never the less, we went, walked on practically every ride, and had a great time!

Enlarge this picture and you can get a picture of how hard it was raining. Can you see me and Olia??

Sean was a bad boy, and this was the outcome of his behavior.

Tom was also bad and therefore.....doomed!

After the rain stopped, and our clothes went from drenched to damp, Olia and I decided that we needed to go on Splash Mountain. Of course they put us in the front. And of course, we got drenched again! Great fun!

CHEESE!!!!

I love photography and photo editing. I am always making Sean pose one way or another so I can capture a shot. Sometimes I will drag (even though he loves it) Sean on "photo shoots" so I can edit the pictures. I am by no means close to being a professional photographer. It's just something that I do for fun. Here are some pictures that Sean and I took with our new camera. I edited them myself as well, using a different editing technique with each one. They are meant to be artsy and fun. Hopefully in the future I can do a little something with this hobby I love.

Hawaii

Our trip to Hawaii was AMAZING! For Christmas, Sean, my parents and I spent the day watching Christmas movies, reading about the birth of the Savior and just being together. Sean and I had a little something for my parents, but that was it. It's nice to not have all the presents sometimes. It makes Christmas mean a little more. BUT...we did have our pineapple Christmas tree, as you can see in one of the pictures.

I took a little over 400 pictures on this trip. A lot...I know. But I did get a new camera from Sean and myself for Christmas. It was our gift to each other. So I had to get good use out of it. Sean and I also went kayaking, a hike through the jungle and went to a waterfall. We bought a water proof camera for that and are having issues getting those pictures back. But as soon as I get them...I will post them.

Here are a few pictures that I especially liked.
Enjoy!
